Museum Villalobos
The house where the museum is located belonged to Don José Villalobos Ampuero, a doctor, former mayor of the city of Arequipa, known as the doctor of the poor for his dedication to serving the most deprived people.
Here he has accumulated coins from different continents; mostly Asian and European; arrived in Arequipa with the families of the upper class, which he manages to collect and preserve.
These treasures are part of the decoration of the manor house period, with an important collection showing part of Arequipa's history, including jewellery.
Let yourself be carried through time through this residence, owned for more than three generations by the Villalobos family, and considered as a national monument by the Peruvian State.
